Chongqing isn’t a city you experience sitting still. Between climbing the stairs and elevators that wind through the hillside neighborhoods, riding the Line 2 monorail straight through a residential tower at Liziba, eating hotpot late into the night in Jiefangbei, and crossing the Yangtze and Jialing rivers by cable car, most visitors and residents alike run out of hours before they run out of things to do. Laundry rarely makes the cut — which is exactly why [Your Laundry Service Name] handles it for you, starting right at your door.
One Bag, One Price
Here’s the short version of how this works: you don’t pay per shirt, per towel, or per pair of socks. You pay based on how much your laundry weighs, total. Fill a bag with whatever needs washing — clothes, bedding, towels, all of it — and we charge one rate for the whole thing.
¥98 covers the first 3 kg. ¥28 applies to each kilogram after that. That’s the entire pricing structure — no item lists, no upcharges for specific garment types. Pickup and delivery fees are quoted separately based on where you’re located in Chongqing, confirmed with you before you book.
Why Bother With This Instead of Hotel Laundry?
Most hotel laundry in Chongqing charges per garment and takes a day or more to return your things. If you’re staying somewhere without laundry service at all, or you just don’t want to deal with sorting out a local laundromat in a city built on hills and steep alleyways, this removes the problem outright. You send a message, we come to you, and you get clean clothes back without leaving your building.
What Happens After You Book
- You message [phone/WeChat] with your Chongqing address (or hotel name) and a pickup time.
- Someone comes to collect your laundry directly — no drop-off required, no matter how many staircases separate you from street level.
- Everything gets washed, dried, and folded by our team.
- Your laundry is delivered back to the same address, typically the next day.
- Need it faster? A same-day rush option is available, adding 50% to your total price.
A Few Reasons People Keep Using This Service
Predictable pricing is a big one — knowing the cost up front by weight, rather than guessing at a per-item total, makes budgeting a trip or a monthly routine much easier. Not having to navigate Chongqing’s terrain with a heavy laundry bag is another. And since everything is arranged by message, there’s no need to speak Chinese or negotiate anything in person.
This tends to work particularly well for:
- Visitors moving through Jiefangbei, Ciqikou Ancient Town, or the Hongyadong riverside district on a multi-day trip
- Business travelers who need clothes cleaned fast without hotel markups
- Expats and longer-term residents living in Chongqing who want a laundry routine that doesn’t require thinking about it each week
- Local residents who’d simply rather not spend a free afternoon on it
Questions People Ask Before Booking
Is the price really just based on weight? Yes — we weigh the entire bag once it’s picked up. ¥98 for the first 3 kg, then ¥28 per kilogram after that. No per-item pricing at any point.
How fast do I get everything back? Next-day delivery is the default. If you need same-day turnaround, that’s available for an additional 50% on the standard price.
Do you come to hillside apartments and hard-to-reach buildings? Yes — Chongqing’s terrain is part of why we built this as a pickup service in the first place. Pickup and delivery fees vary by exact location, so we’ll confirm that with you before booking.
Can I throw in bedsheets or towels with my regular laundry? Generally, yes — they can be weighed and washed as part of the same load. Mention anything delicate when you book so it gets handled properly.
Do I need to sort anything before you arrive? No. One bag, handed over as-is, is all we need.
